Two LCD screens simultaneously display end-face images of the same optic fiber connector, side by side, with differential magnifications. One screen presents a zoomed-in view (e.g., 400x) of the fiber area, while the other screen offers a wider view (e.g., 200x) of the connector's end face, emphasizing the ferrule area. This innovative setup enables operators to meticulously inspect the fiber area while maintaining visibility of the ferrule area. The elimination of the need to switch lenses significantly enhances both speed and convenience. Conventionally, a common challenge with using a single magnification is that, when using 400x magnification, the fiber is clearly visible, but the ferrule area remains indistinct. Conversely, when using 200x magnification, the ferrule area is visible, but scratch details on the fiber end face become challenging to discern. FibKey Dual Mag.
